How to download PUC certificate online?

First of all you open any browser.
Now you can search vahan.parivahan.gov.in
Now you have to click on vahan.parivahan.gov.in website.
Now Parivahan’s official website will appear in front of you. In this you will find many options. You have to click on online services from them. After this you will get PUC in online service itself. By doing this an option will appear, you have to click on it.
Now a POP UP message will appear in front of you, you have to close it.
Now you will get option to download PUC certificate. You have to click on PUC certificate.

Now you will be asked details of your PUC certificate like registration number, chassis number (you have to enter only 5 digits of last key of your chassis number), security code (you will have security code given below). You have to fill them. And after that click on PUC Details.

Now all the details of your PUC will be shown to you (This will happen only if your pollution certificate is not expired, if your pollution certificate is expired then you will not show your PUC details.) Now you have to click on print. . have to give

Now you will get PUC certificate show. Now you have to click on Print again. After this you will be presented with a page like this, in this page you can change any information related to your certificate (like what color you want your certificate to be).

Now you have to click on Print again. After clicking Print, you will be prompted to save this PDF file. Now whatever name you save, your file will be saved.

[PUC] What is the penalty for not having PUC certificate

As per the Motor Vehicle Act, just as it is mandatory to carry your vehicle registration certificate, insurance details and valid driving license, it is also mandatory to carry your vehicle under pollution control certificate.

For failure to do so, you must file a case under Section 190 (2) of the Motor Vehicles Act, 1988 and you will be fined heavily for not carrying a pollution certificate.

On failure of the vehicle to produce a valid PUC certificate, Rs. Fined. 1,000 for first-time offenders. Rs. 2,000 fine for expiring pollution certificates for subsequent offences.

What is the validity period of PUC certificate?

PUC Validity for Cars: PUC validity for new cars is 1 year. After that period; You need to renew the pollution certificate every 6 months.
PUC Validation for Bikes: Pollution certificate validity for new bikes is 1 year. Once you cross that period, the renewed PUC certificate is valid for 6 months.
