The government has announced a new scheme for small and marginal farmers. The scheme is called the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Svirtual ANudan Yojana or PM-KISAN. Under this scheme, the government will provide financial assistance of Rs. 6000 per year to small and marginal farmers.

PM Swanidhi Scheme Yojana (Objective)
The scheme has been designed to provide affordable working capital loan of up to Rs. 10,000 to street vendors/hawkers, who are in the process of setting up their businesses. The loan will enable them to purchase equipment and raw materials, and also cover other business expenses such as registration and licensing fees.
