Which farmers will benefit under Khedut Mobile Yojana? (Eligibility and Conditions)
Specific eligibility criteria have been set for the farmers of the state to get assistance on smartphone purchases. Farmers who will benefit from this scheme if that eligibility will be met with you? The eligibility is as follows.
- The beneficiary farmer should belong to Gujarat State.
- The farmer beneficiary should be a land holder.
- In case of joint account the farmers will be entitled to benefit from only one of the holders mentioned in ikhedut 8-A.
- Even if the farmer owner has more than one account, he will get assistance only once.
- In this scheme only smartphone has to be purchased.
- This assistance will only be for the purchase of the smartphone. Other accessories for smartphones like battery backup devices, ear phones or chargers etc. will not be included.
Assistance available under Khedut Mobile Sahay Yojana
- Assistance will be available on up to 15,000 smartphones purchased by farmers.
- A subsidy of 40% of the purchase price of the farmer smartphone or Rs 6000/- whichever is lower will be available.

One has to apply online to avail the smartphone assistance scheme of Khitiwadi department of Gujarat government. Some documents are prescribed by the department for online application. Its list is as follows.

Purchase Rules Under Khedut Mobile Sahay Yojana
Purchase rules are made to take advantage of this scheme. Assistance will be provided by the beneficiary farmer to the compliant farmer. Following are the rules for getting assistance.
- To avail the benefit of this scheme one has to apply online from eKhedut portal .
- After applying online, pre-approval will be given by Taluka Enforcement Officer.
- Approved applications will be notified through SMS/e-mail or other system.
- Beneficiaries selected for this scheme will have to purchase the smartphone within 15 days from the pre-approval order.
- The beneficiary farmer has to sign the application form after purchasing the SmartPhone within the stipulated time
- The signed printout along with all other documents should be deposited with the Gramsevak/Extension Officer/Taluka Enforcement Officer.
- After the implementation of this scheme, the smartphone purchase bill will have to be presented within the prescribed time limit.

How to Apply for Khedut Mobile Sahay Yojana 2023 | How to Apply Online in Khedut Smartphone Sahay Yojana?
If the farmer friends of the state want to avail the benefits of the khedut Mobile Sahay Yojana Online scheme, they have to apply online on the ikhedut portal. Following is the information on how to apply online.
- Farmer friends, first of all open google search in your mobile or computer and type ikhedut and click on the search button.
- Now click on the official website of ikhedut from the search result.
- On the page of the ikhedut portal website , click on the “plan” icon at the top .
- Now one has to click on “Khetiwadi Yojana” ‘ Click here for details’ .
- After that you have to click on smartphone assistance plan at the bottom of the page.
- Now click on apply .
- Now if you have registered earlier then click on yes and if you have not registered then click on no.
- To register, the farmer friend has to fill the information of his Aadhaar card number and mobile number and then apply in the Captcha box shown on the side.
- If the beneficiary farmer is not registered on ikhedut, he has to select no and then apply online.
- Now the online form will open. In which the requested information such as applicant’s name, address, mobile number, bank account details etc. must be filled accurately and the application must be confirmed.
- Farmer friends should note that once the application form is confirmed, there will be no amendment or increase in the application. So make sure to apply.
- Khedutamitra has to get a print out of the application after applying online.
- After applying online, take a printout of the application and submit it to the Taluk Extension Officer, Agriculture and Gramsevak of your area along with all the documents.
